A stroll along the winding country path that runs through our estate is the perfect way to enjoy Treaty Port’s lush setting. The higher slopes are planted with Grenache, Syrah and Marselan; on the lower slopes are terraces of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. A steep scramble up the path to the top of Qiushan will give you a hawk's eye view of the vineyard down to the lake, the main store of drinking water for Penglai. In the further distance you will see the mine from which comes the granite for the castle walls and vineyard posts. On a clear day you can see the sea to the North, and to the South the jagged, volcanic peaks of Aishan.
